General Dentistry

Bonding

The bonding procedure is indicated when a tooth is repaired after removal of decay, to realign a tooth or close a space, to repair a fractured tooth, or to proceed with desired cosmetic treatment. The material is color matched to your tooth so that it looks like part of your natural tooth.

Extractions & Oral Surgery

We are able to save most teeth, but sometimes extraction is warranted. Our team of dental experts will discuss all your options so you can make the choice that’s best for you. Local or intravenous sedation anesthesia allows your tooth removal procedure to be painless.

Fillings

Fillings replace missing tooth structure due to breakage or decay excavation. If the filling will be very large and compromise the tooth's integrity, the dentist will recommend a crown.

Crowns

A crown is a prosthetic replacement for missing or damaged tooth structure that cannot be replaced with a filling. A tooth that has a large filling and either breaks or fractures may need a crown. A tooth that has had a root canal usually but not always will need a crown.

Bridges

Bridges are a set of multiple crowns (caps) with false teeth in between (to replace teeth you are missing). A bridge may be as small as three teeth and as large as an entire arch, including all the teeth.

Implants

Implants are an option to avoid bridges and removable partial dentures. They enable tooth replacement without cutting down your natural teeth, and can replace complete dentures or enable them to fit so comfortably you can eat corn on the cob or Turkish taffy. Dental implants are placed to replace teeth that are lost or extracted. They work where your natural teeth have failed.

Porcelain Laminates

Porcelain laminates are exceptionally thin, custom-fabricated porcelain shields that are bonded with composite resin to the surface of your teeth. They are used to repair a decayed tooth, repair a fractured tooth, correct poor tooth alignment, correct poor tooth color, or close spaces.

Dentures & Partial Dentures

Removable prosthetic appliances have been the mainstay of tooth replacement for many years. They are easy to fabricate, a painless procedure, minimally invasive, and relatively inexpensive.

Invisalign

Modern computer technology has provided dentists and patients with this new technique for moving teeth. It does away (in most cases) with the old metal bracketing that most patients (especially adults) disliked. This method is not suitable for all orthodontic situations, however. Adults with crowding or misaligned teeth are the best candidates.

Root Canals

Root canal therapy is not the terrible treatment most patients think it will be. Local anesthesia makes the treatment painless.

Digital X-Rays

Digital X-rays enable us to diagnose problems instantly. The sensor we use is very comfortable, with no sharp corners. Sending X-rays digitally also accelerates the process of insurance claim turnaround, so reimbursement is faster.

Non-Surgical Periodontal Therapy

Periodontal disease has no cure, but if it can be stabilized at an early stage, tooth loss can be prevented. Treatment involves scaling and root planing. There is no cutting of the gums and, in most cases, no needles are required.

ViziLite - Oral Cancer Screening

We provide a screening procedure that helps to identify pre-cancerous tissue and cancerous tissue. It's simple, painless, and gives the best chance to find abnormalities at the earliest possible stage. Early detection of pre-cancerous tissue can minimize or eliminate the potentially disfiguring effects of oral cancer and possibly save your life.

Whitening

Our in-office procedure takes approximately 1 ½ hours. We also offer a take-home kit, which can be used at your convenience.

Cosmetic Dentistry

More than just whitening and brightening teeth, we can replace missing teeth, reshape teeth as a group or individually, lengthen teeth, make teeth appear wider or narrower, rotate or tip them for better alignment, and even add gum tissue to shorten long teeth.
