Checkup & Cleaning

In the treatment room, we will conduct a comprehensive examination of your teeth as well as the soft tissues of your mouth (a periodontal evaluation). We’ll also review your medical and dental history and make notes of any important or specific needs that you have.

We use state-of-the-art tools and materials to clean and strengthen your teeth, and our hygienists offer helpful tips to help you up your cleaning game at home if you choose. We are also happy to discuss our in-house teeth whitening options during your appointment if you’d like to consider scheduling a smile-brightening session.

If you haven’t had X-rays recently, the dentist may recommend them. X-rays help us examine your oral health beyond what is visible or palpable on the surface. Then, we’ll work with you to provide a personalized treatment plan.
